With 3 comfortable bedrooms, 3 convenient bathrooms, and space to sleep up to 10 guests, Whispering Oak is perfectly suited for fun family vacations and weekends with friends. It offers the conveniences of home, fun extras, and nice spaces inside and out for a memorable getaway.

Need a break from the everyday grind? Find your peace at Whispering Oak! Start mornings sipping coffee on the decks or relaxing with a good book on the porch swing. The picnic table is great for lunch made fresh on the gas grill. The living room offers a TV and a cozy fireplace, so you can unwind and hang out here. The game room features DVD and Blu-ray players and a pool table, so you can watch movies as you play. 

Convenient amenities include a garden tub, TVs in the bedrooms, a paved driveway, a washer/dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, and wireless internet in the cabin. And at night, retreat to the bedrooms that feature 3 king-size beds. If you have a full house, you can take advantage of the queen futon or the queen sleeper sofa. Bonus: a stay in the Shagbark community means access to a community pool – the ultimate summer vacation amenity! 

Living Room
After you’ve spent the day shopping at the Tanger Outlets, riding roller coasters at Dollywood, watching dinner shows downtown, or exploring The Island in Pigeon Forge, come back to your Pigeon Forge, TN cabin to relax. The living room is cozy, with leather sofas flanking the fireplace. It’s a wonderful spot on a cool mountain day, or you can flip on the fan in summer to stay cool. Large windows frame tree-studded views, making you feel truly tucked away. 

As you relax, flip on the flatscreen TV to watch some shows or movies or flip on the lamp to do some reading. You can set snacks and drinks on the coffee table here as you kick up your feet and enjoy the peace of the mountains. This open cabin allows guests to easily chat and hang out in the living room, kitchen, and on the deck! 

Kitchen
Fully outfitted for making drinks, snacks, and meals, the full kitchen of Whispering Oak has black appliances and warm wood cabinets. You will have a refrigerator/freezer, oven with glass stovetop, microwave, dishwasher for easy cleanup, knife set, toaster, coffeemaker, blender, and ample dishes, glassware, and utensils for enjoying meals in the cabin. 

You can create your favorite holiday recipes, prepare breakfast using some mixes from The Old Mill, pack a picnic lunch, or just reheat leftovers from meals downtown. On days around the cabin, pop some popcorn, break out the fudge from downtown, or bake some cookies and enjoy a day in. 

Dining Area
Set between the fully equipped kitchen and the living room is the dining table, offering seating for about 8 and a nice place to enjoy meals together. Sit down for breakfast before a big hike, order pizza and set it out for an easy lunch, or go all out with a decadent family-style dinner. During holidays, it’s a wonderful place to gather for good food and great memories. And when mealtime is over, clear the table and have a game night! Bring your favorite board games to play, do a puzzle, play cards, or just color and do crafts with the kids. 

Rec Room
While Pigeon Forge is known for its many attractions and arcades, you don’t even have to leave the cabin for some fun. Your rec room has a pool table so you can shoot around, along with a big-screen TV for movies and a multicade arcade game. Sip a drink at the pub-style table, play pool, or relax on the sofa while watching TV. You’ll have easy access to the deck here as well, so you can get some fresh air and enjoy the views. 

Bedrooms
Call it a night in the welcoming bedrooms at Whispering Oak. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a king-size bed, with a sprawling master suite complete with a sitting area, soaring ceilings, bedside lamps, and private deck access for the perfect morning as a couple. The other bedrooms also have TVs, and additional sleeping space in the cabin includes 1 queen futon and 1 queen sleeper sofa. 

Other Amenities
Whispering Oak has all you need to feel right at home while away. Have a nice bath in the garden tub, splash around in the community pool, keep up with loads of laundry with the washer/dryer in the cabin, or just stay connected with the wireless internet. 

Outdoor Spaces
What’s a getaway to the Smoky Mountains without some time spent outside? Enjoy the nice outdoor spaces at Whispering Oak, day and night. Climb into the bubbling outdoor hot tub to soothe tired muscles, sit among the trees in the rocking chairs, or get a little time to yourself in the porch swing. The deck also features a picnic table for outdoor meals and a grill for cookouts. 

Local Fun
When you’re not spending time around the cabin, make the drive to downtown Pigeon Forge or check out Gatlinburg or Sevierville. There is no shortage of attractions, shops, and restaurants for your vacation. You can find any type of food – German, Italian, Mexican, Asian cuisines, American classics, and more – and a huge variety of shops. Check out the As Seen On TV stores, visit a local boutique, or go to the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community to meet the talented people behind the local work you see around in the Smokies.
