Two Impressive Zip Lines
The Goliath Zip Line Tour—If you’re looking for a zip line adventure to take your breath away, Goliath is the one. This zip line is the highest in the Smoky Mountains (an impressive 475 feet high!) and is for only the most daring visitors to Pigeon Forge. When you book this 2-hour tour, you’ll have the chance to ride 5 extreme zip lines with experienced guides whose top priority is your safety. These zip lines will take you over the Foxfire Valley and Dunn’s Creek for impressive views you will never forget! (Must be 10 years or older and 100 to 250 pounds to book this tour; price is $89.95 per person.)
Waterfall Canopy Zip Tour—For a less-scary but just as fun zip line course at Foxfire, try the classic tour, the Waterfall Canopy zip line adventure. On this course, you’ll ride 7 different zip lines and cross 2 sky bridges with several platforms. This tour, like The Goliath, lasts approximately 2 hours, but you’ll have the unique opportunity to zip over Foxfire’s Lost Mine Falls on this tour. The Waterfall Canopy Zip Tour also provides experienced guides and guide-powered braking, so you won’t have to wear gloves or touch any cables. (Must be 7 years or older and less than 265 pounds to book this tour; price is $79.95 per person.)
Keep in mind that reservations are required for either zip line adventure. You can also pay $10 more per person and book the Get It All package. This includes access to the Gorilla Climbing Wall, Head Rush Plunge, Adventurer Obstacle Course, Tree-Climber Aerial Adventure Course, America’s Bridge to Prosperity, River Walk Hiking Trail, Whispering Winds Canopy Bridges, and the Wild and Woolly Watusi Farm. Other Extreme Adventures
Bear Crawler Adventure—If you want to keep your feet on the ground (or at least on the floorboard), try the Bear Crawler Adventure at Foxfire instead. This extreme 8-wheeled ATV ride will take you off-road through the trees and into the raging creeks for an hour-long tour you will remember for years to come. You’ll get a one-of-a-kind view of the Smoky Mountain forest and a chance to hear the tales of the Smoky Mountains from your guide. (Must be 3 years or older to book this tour; price is $69 for adults and $49 for children between 3 and 6 years old.)
America’s Longest Swinging Bridge—The Bridge to Prosperity, which stretches 335 feet across the Foxfire Gorge, is the longest swinging bridge in America, and it can be found right here at Foxfire! When you book the Discover Foxfire package, you’ll have the chance to not only walk across this swinging bridge, but also to visit the Whispering Winds Covered Bridge, trek otherwise inaccessible hiking trails (like the one to the Lost Mine Falls), play on the Little Adventurer Obstacle Course, and more. (No age limit for this package; reservations are NOT required; price is $20 per person, and kids 6 years old or younger are FREE!)
Combo Deals
Total Adventure Pass—If you want to go big before you go home this year, then plan to book the Total Adventure Pass at Foxfire during your stay in Pigeon Forge. This combo includes a 2-hour rafting tour with class 3 and 4 rapids down the Big Pigeon River. Then you’ll get to choose between The Goliath or the Waterfall Canopy Tour to complete your fun-filled adventure. (Price is $102 per person.)
Bear Crawler Adventure Combo—If you want to stay dry but still have hours of fun, then this adventure combo is the better choice for you. You’ll get to ride the 8-wheeled ATV on an off-road adventure before choosing one of Foxfire’s famous zip lines (The Goliath or the Waterfall Canopy Tour) for an impressive end to an exciting day. (Price is $140 per person; duration is 4 hours.)
