A few months ago we saw a tweet on Twitter from a young lady that was asking for food options for vegetarians visiting Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We didn’t really know how to help because we had never received a request for information on vegetarian food in Pigeon Forge, so we did some digging. We didn’t just find one option, we found two. We’re sure there’s more out there but we figured we would start by telling you about these two vegetarian options in the Pigeon Forge area.
We found the first through mere coincidence. One of our staff members was walking from her parking spot to our office and she noticed that there was a food store just two buildings down from our office. It is called Whole Earth Grocery. We like to be friendly with our neighbors so she went in to meet the staff. Not only did she find that the market serves coffee, she found that they also sell food for vegetarians in Gatlinburg. The store is a quaint market off of East Parkway in Gatlinburg. They have vegetarian food available, but also have healthy choices for people who aren’t. They are a market, but they also serve lunch which includes vegetarian items like veggie wraps, black bean burgers, pasta salads, and potato salads.
For Vegetarian food in Pigeon Forge visitors may want to stop at Rabbit Food in Fountain Plaza. Rabbit Food is an organic and natural market in Sevierville. They sell “organic produce and grocery items below retail” according to their website. They are also GMO free. They actually provide neat recipes on their website including one for organic mushrooms and veggies here https://rabbitfoodtn.blogspot.com/2010/04/portabello-mushrooms-with-veggies.html.

Thank you for sharing this information. There may not be many options visible now, but by increasing awareness of vegetarian/vegan diets hopefully local establishments will take notice. Thanks again !
