What Is River Tubing?

Ever floated down a lazy river at a water park? Then you have an idea of what river tubing is all about. The biggest difference between Tube River Rage and a water park is that you’ll be on a real river with exciting rapids along the journey! Tube River Rage provides the longest tubing route along the Little River, parts of which are protected by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. So not only can you experience the fun of river tubing in Townsend, TN, but you’ll enjoy the privacy and scenery of the gorgeous Smoky Mountains!

Can Anyone Go Tubing?

Tube River Rage has no weight restrictions and no experience is required, but all tubers must be at least 3 years old and all children under 13 years old will need to be accompanied by an adult. Your little ones who need a little help in the water will have custom-fitted, Coast Guard-approved life jackets for safety. Dogs are also welcome to float down the river in the same tube with you as Tube River Rage is pet friendly; just be sure to bring their life jacket. You’ll also be assisted by staff members who are familiar with the river, so you know your experience at Tube River Rage will be safe and tons of fun!

Note: restrictions may be put in place depending on the water level of the river on a daily basis, so be sure to check ahead just in case.
