What is a Segway?
A Segway is a battery-powered vehicle has two wheels and is self-balancing from the rider standing up. To maneuver the vehicle, you simply shift your body weight to go forward or backward. To turn, however, you press the handlebar to the left or right, depending on the direction you want to go.
Experiencing a Segway tour
Tours at Segway of Pigeon Forge last an hour-and-a-half. The first 30 minutes will consist of a training course and safety instructions. Then you are off to explore the city, seeing sites such as The Old Mill, The Greenway, and The Island. Bring your camera to take pictures of these different sites and to document your trip. Each Segway provides a bag on it where you can store small items like a camera to keep it safe.
You have to be at least 14 years old to ride (under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
